Argh.

I know I've been holding out. There was intent to release them, but now that will just have to wait longer. I had a few songs in the works and somehow lost the audacity data folders.

I don't know - maybe this is a good thing for you. My singing voice is hardly what I'd call inspirational unless you're a howling dog. But I strive to add some value to the nether regions of the internet. If everyone just posted about a few pieces of entertaining muse on the internet, be it a viral video or a nicely done graphic or a catchy public domain mp3, we would still be suppressed in the 20th century.

The web has become a dumping ground of sorts - there's a whole lot of trash out there - but there are also some real diamonds in the rough. Take Jonathan Coulton for instance. He somehow did what nearly all of us dream of. Of course being highly talented helps.

Most of the big stars out there are not all that talented, but they applied themselves so they're the names you see. You see Madonna or Leonardo DiCaprio rather than the ever hidden closet-singing American Idol never-be because he or she didn't put their neck out on the line. Then after some time, these somewhat talented stars who did put their neck out become more refined in their profession.
